Missouri lawmakers consider insurance coverage for autism

Ella McPheeters, 4, is receiving applied behavior analysis therapy for autism through the Early Intensive Behavior Intervention program at MU’s Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders. The Missouri General Assembly is considering legislation that would mandate that insurance companies pay up to ,000 yearly for such therapy.
